Kim Jong Il Lauded by Foreign Papers
Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- Foreign papers dedicated special write-ups to the third anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

The Indian paper Indian and World Event on Dec. 9 devoted its two whole pages to articles illustrated with the portrait of the smiling leader.

He comprehensively developed in depth the Juche idea and the Songun idea founded by President Kim Il Sung, the father of socialist Korea, and thus further glorified them as the guiding idea of the human cause of independence and the banner of victory, the paper said.

He powerfully encouraged the cause of global independence and actively supported the struggle of the countries and their people aspiring after independence, holding aloft the banner of independence against imperialism, it noted.

He made great contributions to building an independent new world and defending the global peace and stability through his energetic external activities, it said.

He will always live in the hearts of the Korean people and progressive mankind, it added.

The Thai paper Xing San Daily on the same day devoted its one whole page to an article titled "The third anniversary of demise of Chairman of the National Defence Commission Kim Jong Il" accompanied with the portrait of the smiling leader.

The Lao paper Congtap Pasason Lao and the Zambian paper Zambia Daily Mail on Dec. 8 carried articles including the one titled "Chairman of the National Defence Commission Kim Jong Il and Korea today" illustrated with his photos.

The papers introduced the revolutionary career of Kim Jong Il who made contributions to the Korean revolution and the cause of global independence under the unfurled banner of Juche and Songun.

They said that his idea and exploits are shedding more brilliant rays thanks to Marshal Kim Jong Un.
