Demise Anniversary of Kim Jong Il Observed Abroad
Pyongyang, December 11 (KCNA) -- Remembrance meetings were held by the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea, the People's Socialist Party of Mexico and the Kuwait House of Works from Dec. 2 to 4 on the occasion of the third anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

The general secretary of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea said the revolutionary career of Kim Jong Il and the exploits he performed on behalf of the times and history would always be remembered by the Korean people and other progressives.

He expressed conviction that the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people will certainly realize his lifetime desire under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The general secretary of the Central Committee of the Socialist Party of Mexico said in a speech that Kim Jong Il so suddenly passed away to the sorrow on Dec. 17, 2011 while leading the Korean revolution and the global socialist revolution for half a century.

The fraternal Korean people are translating Kim Jong Il's noble plan for building a thriving nation into a brilliant reality, single-mindedly rallied around Kim Jong Un, he added.

The director of the Kuwait House of Works who is chairman of the Kuwait-DPRK Friendship Association said it would give wide publicity to the exploits of Kim Jong Il and the struggle of the Korean people through media on the occasion of the third anniversary of his demise.

The Korean people are registering great successes in the general drive for building a thriving nation under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, he added.

He paid the highest tribute to Kim Jong Il.
