Foreign Crewmen Meet
Haeju, December 8 (KCNA) -- A remembrance meeting of foreign crewmen was held at Haehung 2, Cambodian-flagged ship, in Haeju Port in South Hwanghae Province on Monday on the occasion of the third anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

It was attended by the captain and crewmen of the ship.

Speeches were made there.

Speakers at the meeting said that not only the Korean people but also all other world progressives are honoring the memory of Kim Jong Il most reverently on the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of his demise.

They continued:

Kim Jong Il was a distinguished leader as he made great contributions to socialism, human cause of independence and world peace and security while leading the Korean revolution for a long time.

They went on:

Kim Jong Il who was born on Mt. Paektu and grew up in the flames of the great anti-Japanese war successfully carried forward the revolutionary cause started by President Kim Il Sung.

Kim Jong Il developed the Workers' Party of Korea into a powerful and invincible party and provided an eternal foundation for the nation's prosperity.

He defended socialist Korea with his outstanding Songun politics and turned it into invincible political, ideological and military power. His exploits will shine for a long time century after century.

They stressed that the desire of Kim Jong Il for building a thriving nation is being brought into a brilliant reality by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted there.
