Demise Anniversary of Kim Jong Il Observed in Brazil
Pyongyang, December 6 (KCNA) -- Events took place in Brazil on Nov. 17 and 25 on the occasion of the third anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

They included a Korean photo and book exhibition and a film show by Rio Grande Do Sul State Congress, a remembrance meeting and a film show by the teachers' trade union of the Brazilian Workers' Unique Centre.

On display at the venues of the events were photos showing the exploits of Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed there were works of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu, photos and books introducing the efforts made by the service personnel and people of the DPRK for building a thriving nation.

Films shown included the Korean film "Fireworks of a Thriving Nation."

Present at the events were personages of various circles and the masses.

The speaker of the above-said Congress spoke highly of the undying exploits President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il performed by founding and developing the DPRK.

Raul Kroeff, member of the Central Committee of the Brazilian Communist Party, said during his visit to the DPRK he saw for himself amazing realities he had not imagined before, adding the Korean people have worked world-startling miracles in all fields of socialist construction under the guidance of Kim Jong Un.

Acilino Riveiro, chairman of the Brazilian Committee for Remembering Leader Kim Jong Il, referred to the fact that Kim Jong Il made tireless efforts for the prosperity of socialist Korea and happiness of its people till the last moments of his life.

The undying exploits of Kim Jong Il will always be remembered by not only the Korean but also other progressives, he added.
