Korea Green Fund Emerges in DPRK
Pyongyang, December 4 (KCNA) -- The Korea Green Fund was set up in the DPRK on October 30, 2014.

The mission of the Fund, headquartered in Kinmaul-dong No.1, Moranbong District of Pyongyang, is to raise the public interest in the green development through loans to those units engaged in the research into green energy, renewable resources, green foods, organic farming method, etc.

The Fund depends on donations by overseas compatriots, foreigners and domestic institutions, enterprises, organizations and individuals aspiring after the green development.

It will run its own annual bulletin and website to introduce the results of its activities and show appreciation for exemplary donors by such means as providing tours of scenic spots in the country.

The Korea Green Fund will work to strengthen the close cooperation with non-governmental organizations and individuals of all other countries and regions.
