Minju Joson Censures U.S. for Updating Its Forces
Pyongyang, December 1 (KCNA) -- Recently, the U.S. is paying exceptional attention to updating its forces.

U.S. Secretary of Defense Hagel in his statement sent to high-ranking military officials of the U.S. before his recent resignation, made the so-called "initiative for innovations in national defense" which calls for proactively applying fresh system and latest technology such as robot technology, miniaturization of weapons and data development and 3D printing technique to the military field, according to foreign press reports.

Minju Joson Monday runs a commentary in this regard.

It says:

This clearly proves that the U.S. remains unchanged in its ambition to realize its scenario for dominating the world through its military hegemony and is getting more persistent in its efforts to realize it.

At present the U.S. is not in a position to maintain its status as "the world's only superpower" in the international arena and is compelled to leave the "sphere of its control" over the world and "guiding role" to other countries.

What the U.S. conceived under this scenario is the idea that it should lay the second military springboard without fail.

In other words, its ulterior aim is to rearm its forces with rapid and sophisticated striking capability and stealth technique and steadily maintain its military edge and position as "the world's only superpower" just as it had dominated the world by manufacturing nuclear weapons during World War Ⅱand thus realize its wild ambition for world domination.

The U.S. set the development of the delivery system and unmanned system capable of striking the farthest target on the earth from its launching base at the speed several times faster than the sonic one in an hour as its priority task and is working hard to carry it out. It is openly asserting that it will continue seeking and employing means and ways for ensuring its military supremacy in the future, too.

The U.S. had better stop acting rashly, thinking twice about the miserable consequences to be entailed by its overconfidence in its muscle.
