Kim Jong Il Remembered by Foreign Media
Pyongyang, November 30 (KCNA) -- Newspapers of Congo, DR Congo and Nigeria each devoted their whole pages to special write-ups illustrated with the portrait of smiling leader Kim Jong Il from Nov. 19 to 21 to commemorate the third anniversary of his demise.

The Congolese paper Brazzaville Depeche carried articles under the titles "Great exploits of leader Kim Jong Il," "Efforts made for reunification of the country," "Tender-hearted father of people" and "Supreme leader of the Korean people Kim Jong Un".

The paper said Kim Jong Il was the tender-hearted father who devoted himself to the happiness of the Korean people.

It was his maxim that one should pluck even a star and bring a flower into bloom even on a rock if this is desired by the people, the paper added.

The DR Congo paper La Prosperite carried articles titled "Greatest man" and "Defender of socialism" under the headline "Leader Kim Jong Il's idea and exploits will last forever".

The paper said he firmly defended socialism, upholding the banner of Songun.

He who devoted his all to the happiness of the Korean people and global independence till the last moments of his life will always be alive in the hearts of the Korean people and other world progressives as a beaming image of the sun, the paper stressed.

The Nigerian paper Nigerian Observer carried articles titled "Snow and Kim Jong Il" and "Legacy of leader Kim Jong Il" under the headline "Noble life and immortal exploits of the great leader Kim Jong Il will always be remembered by progressive mankind."

The paper introduced in detail the undying exploits he performed by devoting himself and said his sacred name will always remain shining along with the prosperity of socialist Korea.
