More Rallies of Service Personnel, People Held
Pyongyang, November 29 (KCNA) -- Rallies of service personnel and people were held in Nampho and Rason cities on Saturday to support the statement of the National Defence Commission (NDC) of the DPRK and vow to foil the anti-DPRK "human rights" campaign kicked up by the U.S. and its followers.

Present there were officials of the local party, power and economic bodies and working people's organizations, service personnel of the Korean People's Army (KPA) and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, working people, youth and students.

The statement of the NDC of the DPRK was read out at the rallies.

Representatives of the KPA service personnel, workers, agricultural workers, youth and students in their speeches said that the "human rights resolution" against the DPRK fabricated by the U.S. and other hostile forces is a shameless political document peppered with sheer sophism.

This is nothing but a foolish attempt of those struck with horror in face of the heroic stamina of the DPRK dashing ahead like the wind towards a bright morrow, they noted.

It is ridiculous, indeed, for the U.S. to talk about the "human rights" issue as its true colors as a tundra of human rights are brought to light by the unbroken occurrence of grisly incidents, they said, stressing: The army and people of the DPRK will never allow their genuine human rights to be insulted and its independence and sovereignty to be encroached upon but deal a merciless sledge-hammer at the U.S. imperialists and their followers.

Then followed demonstrations of the participants.
