Strike Staged in S. Korea in Demand of Wage Hike

| Pyongyang, November 29 (KCNA) -- The Trade Union of the Hyundai Heavy Industry Co. Ltd. staged a strike in demand of wage hike on Nov. 27, according to the south Korean KBS. The organization recalled that it has conducted negotiations on over 50 occasions with the company side but, the demand for wage hike has not been met. It lodged strong protest with the company side which trampled down the workers' right to existence under the pretext of "worsening difficulties of management". |
