The bulletin carried several articles illustrated with a portrait of smiling leader Kim Jong Il.

The article titled "Songun politics decisive of people's destiny" said:

Kim Jong Il considered the bolstering of the military capability as the most important national affair, directed primary efforts to it and built the People's Army into a main force of the revolution.

The People's Army which has grown to be a matchless army under his wise leadership has firmly protected the security of the country from the U.S. imperialists and their followers' ceaseless military provocations and played a leading role in the socialist economic construction, too.

The Songun politics has honorably protected the sovereignty of the DPRK, the socialist cause and the destiny of people from the imperialist allied forces' offensive.

Another article titled "Comrade Kim Jong Il's exploits performed for national reunification" said he provided the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 declaration through his energetic activities.

The bulletin also conveyed the accounts of the revolutionary activities of Kim Jong Un, supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.
