The delegation visited Malaysia to take part in the Congress of the United Malays National Organization of Malaysia.

The secretary general expressed thanks to Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the WPK, for sending a delegation to the congress of his party. He said his party was pleased that everything goes well in the DPR of Korea under the leadership of the WPK.

The WPK and the Korean people are channeling their efforts into economic construction and the improvement of the people's living standard, he said, adding:

It is the consistent stand of the United Malays National Organization of Malaysia to favorably develop the relations with the WPK.

A memorandum of understanding on cooperation and exchange between the two parties was signed.
