Conservative Media Accused for Denying Freedom of Expression
Pyongyang, November 28 (KCNA) -- A broadcasting service of south Korea issued a statement on Nov. 24 assailing the conservative media for denying the freedom of expression, according to the south Korean internet paper Jaju Minbo.

Recently the puppet police booked Hwang Son, representative of the Forum for the Study of Politics Desired, on the charge of violation of the "National Security Law", for the mere reason that she made a speech praising the north's social system.

Keeping pace with this fascist action, some conservative media vied with each other to release misinformation about her, taking issue with her visit to Pyongyang and her past behavior and present activities.

The statement held that these evil practices are just the same as what happened under Park Chung-Hee's and Chun Doo Hwan's dictatorships when the security authorities deceived the people by using media and cracked down upon the movement for democracy.

It went on:

The security authorities' labeling of Hwang's telling what she experienced in the north violation of clause "encouragement and praise" of the law is an undemocratic action of banning the act of speaking of even an objective fact and a total denial of the freedom of expression.
