DPRK Pays Special Care to Children
Pyongyang, November 20 (KCNA) -- The DPRK has always paid deep attention to the growth and development of children.

The Workers' Party of Korea and the government bestow all benefits on the children so that they can enjoy their rights to the full in education, health service and all other fields.

The DPRK government enforced the universal 12-year compulsory education while consolidating the free medical care system.

Orphans are leading a happy life at baby homes and orphanages run at the state expense, and those children in remote mountain villages and isolated areas like islets and disabled children, too, can cultivate their talents to the full.

In the country, everything is provided on a priority basis for the children's health, education and life.

Pyongyang Baby Home and Orphanage, Okryu Children's Hospital, Songdowon International Children's Camp and other recently-built or renovated edifices go to clearly prove the reality of the DPRK which has spared nothing for the rising generations.
