Rodong Sinmun Slams S. Korean Warmongers' Saber-rattling
Pyongyang, November 17 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet forces are staging the largest-scale war exercises 2014-Hoguk with more than 330 000 troops involved from Nov. 10.

They kicked off a joint landing drill in the area of Phohang of North Kyongsang Province from Nov. 15 with the involvement of the three services of huge armed forces and the marine corps.

This is a revelation of extreme confrontation with the DPRK and the deliberate moves to deteriorate the inter-Korean relations, says Rodong Sinmun Monday in an article.

It goes on:

The present ruling forces of south Korea have persistently sought confrontation and war, not dialogue and the improvement of relations between the north and the south.

They have never respected the DPRK, the dialogue partner, but only sought to do harm to it by force of arms.

It is as clear as noonday that such bellicose action posing a serious threat to the dialogue partner and escalating the military tension is not for the dialogue and improvement of relations between the north and the south.

The warmongers are working hard to cover up the aggressive and provocative nature of Hoguk drills while crying out for the "establishment of military posture" to cope with "provocation" from someone.

The south Korean authorities are talking about "local war provocation" and "all-out war" of someone, but such wicked artifice can never help them cover up their provocative and bellicose nature.

The army and the people of the DPRK want detente and peace on the Korean Peninsula, but they will take a resolute military counteraction if the south Korean authorities dare hurt the DPRK even a bit, being buoyed by foolish daydream.
