KCTU Demands Resignation of Park Geun Hye Regime
Pyongyang, November 11 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) held a huge workers rally in Seoul on Nov. 9, according to Chamsesang, an internet paper of south Korea.

It was attended by more than 30 000 workers under the confederation, unionists under it, bereaved families of the ferry Sewol disaster, representatives of peasants and poor people's organizations and other people from all walks of life.

Prior to the rally, workers gathered at Chonggye plaza and marched as far as the university street, holding slogan "Park Guen Hye regime, step down".

Trade unions under the confederation held rallies in different parts of Seoul.

There took place a rally at the university street.

At the rally speakers reviewed the past actions of the confederation and underscored the need to more dynamically conduct the trade union movement.

Many workers are suffering pain due to part-time jobs, they said, adding if they are united to struggle and people of all social standings express solidarity with them, they can change this world by concerted efforts of workers, peasants and the poor.

They underlined to fight it out to abolish part-time jobs prevalent in south Korean society.

They called upon people from all walks of life to fight in unity to build an equal society.
