Pyongyang, November 11 (KCNA) -- Remembrance meetings took place in Mongolia and Kuwait on Oct. 30 to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

A Mongolian personage said the august name of Kim Jong Il is widely known to the world, adding:

Kim Jong Il remarkably increased the national power of the DPRK by enforcing the original Songun politics and set an example of independent politics in the most difficult period of the 1990s.

The Mongolian people sincerely wish the Korean people big successes in their efforts to defend the sovereignty of the country and build a rich and powerful nation.

S. Altanchimeg, director of Kim Jong Il Kindergarten in Darkhan-Uul Province, Mongolia said:

No matter how much water may flow under the bridge, I will invariably remember the august name of Kim Jong Il. I will let the younger generation know well about the greatness of Kim Jong Il and the reality of the developing DPRK so that the friendship between the two countries may be kept in full bloom.

Yousef Al Amiri, chairman of the Kuwaiti Committee for Remembering Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, praised his revolutionary life and exploits.

He noted that he witnessed for himself the signal successes made by the Korean people in their efforts to protect the sovereignty of the country and build a thriving nation under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un while visiting the DPRK several times.
