S. Korean Students Demand Resignation of President of University
Pyongyang, November 9 (KCNA) -- The general student council of Chongju University of south Korea declared that it would conduct a campaign of refusing classes on Nov. 3 in demand of the resignation of the president of the university who caused the management crisis, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Chamsesang.

In August the Ministry of Education included Chongju University in the list of the objects to which restrictions of the financial support by the "government" will be applied, thereby bringing about the serious crisis in the management of the university.

Timed to coincide with this, the university was disclosed to have salted away zillion won and its president to have resorted to malpractices such as self-righteous management.

Students warned the president that they would wage protest in case he does not make a decision to resign until Nov. 2.
