U.S. Anti-DPRK "Human Rights" Campaign Flailed by Serbian Political Party
Pyongyang, November 7 (KCNA) -- The New Yugoslav Communist Party of Serbia issued a statement on Oct. 29 denouncing the U.S. anti-DPRK "human rights" campaign.

The statement said:

The U.S., styling itself "champion" of democracy and human rights, is getting more frantic in the "human rights" campaign against the DPRK than ever before. The U.S. and its followers are working hard to make even a "resolution" against the DPRK and get it passed through the UN General Assembly.

Lurking behind such campaign of the U.S. is its sinister aim to tarnish the image of the DPRK and bring down the socialist system centered on the popular masses chosen by the Korean people.

This is clearly evidenced by the historic facts that the U.S. militarily interfered in the internal affairs of other countries and toppled down the legitimate regimes under the pretext of "defending human rights" in different parts of the world in the past.

The invasion and military intervention perpetrated by the U.S. against sovereign states after World War II go to clearly prove that the U.S. imperialists are, indeed, the worst human rights abusers in the world and the world's most brutal and brigandish barbarians in the present times.

We fully support all steps for self-defense taken by the DPRK to shatter the vicious "human rights" campaign of the U.S. and its followers and defend the sovereignty of the country and the nation.

We reaffirm that we are standing by the Korean people in the showdown with the U.S.
