The joint statement said:

The NDC of the DPRK clarified its principled stand disclosing the U.S. hostile acts against the DPRK as regards the fact that the U.S. is trying to pass a "resolution" against the DPRK at the UN General Assembly and bring the DPRK's "human rights issue" up for discussion at the International Criminal Court.

The U.S. move will certainly meet a fiasco by the struggle of the Korean people who regard the sovereignty dearer than their lives and the progressives standing on their side as it is the political interference to stifle socialist Korea and infringement upon its sovereignty.

We denounce the U.S., the common enemy, for its anti-DPRK "human rights" campaign and fully support the statement made by the NDC of the DPRK which declared that it would defend the sovereignty of the country and nation.
