S. Korean Public Servants and Teachers Stage Mammoth Protest Rally against Regime
Pyongyang, November 3 (KCNA) -- According to the south Korean internet paper Voice of People, there took place a mammoth rally in Youido, Seoul on Nov. 1 in protest against the south Korean regime's move for the retrogressive revision of the law on pension for public servants.

It was attended by at least 120 000 members of more than 50 public servants and teachers organizations from across south Korea.

Speakers said that they could never accept a unilateral retrogressive revision of the "law on a pension for public servants" made by the "Saenuri Party" and the "government", disregarding the opinions of the government employees and teachers.

They called on everybody to unite and struggle to foil the regime's move.

In a resolution the participants at the rally said that they would launch actions, representing the resentment of eight million public servants and teachers and their families if the regime and the ruling party press forward the revision, indifferent to their living after their retirement.

They also warned that they would bring forward a non-confidence motion against the authorities in case they go on with the de-nationalization of public domain on the side of the tycoons.
