Kim Yong Nam Sends Message of Thanks to Ugandan President
Pyongyang, November 3 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, Saturday sent a message of thanks to Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, president of the Republic of Uganda, leaving it after successfully wrapping up his visit to the country.

He in the message expressed thanks to the president, government and people of Uganda for according warm reception and cordial hospitality to him and his party.

The message said they could witness for themselves rapid progress the Ugandan people have made in politics, economy, military affairs and various other fields under the leadership of the president and the government of the Uganda National Resistance Movement.

It noted that at the talks and conversations with the president and senior officials of the Ugandan government during the visit both sides had sincere discussions on the mutual stands of steadily boosting the bilateral relations and reached a consensus of views on them.

The message noted with satisfaction that the visit undoubtedly marked an important occasion in further deepening the mutual understanding and friendship and further promoting the development of the relations between the two countries.

It sincerely wished the Ugandan people greater progress in the efforts to build prosperous Uganda and the president good health and great success in his responsible work.
