Pyongyang, November 1 (KCNA) -- A remembrance meeting, seminar, lecture, photo exhibition and film show took place in Bangladesh on Oct. 24 and 25 on the occasion of the third anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

Korean film "Fireworks of a Thriving Nation" was screened.

M. Jahangir Khan, chairman of the Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy, introduced the brief biography of Kim Jong Il, and said:

Kim Jong Il is the outstanding leader who made the immortal contribution to the human cause of independence by developing in depth the Juche idea and the Songun idea founded by President Kim Il Sung through his energetic ideological and theoretical activities.

He turned the DPRK into the political, ideological and military power and ushered in a fresh heyday of building a thriving nation through his Songun revolutionary leadership.

The exploits he performed for the people's happiness and prosperity and the sacred cause for the global cause of independence will remain forever in the hearts of not only the Korean people but progressive humankind.

We will conduct more brisk activities for supporting the struggle of the army and people of the DPRK who are dynamically advancing toward a fresh victory under the Songun leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

M. Gamrul Huda, chairman of the Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea, said that the revolutionary idea of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il which is recognized as the genuine guiding idea in the era of independence was formulated as Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism by Kim Jong Un. The Korean people are now full of the will to steadily advance along the road of independence, Songun and socialism under the banner of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.
