Talks between Kim Yong Nam and Ugandan President Held
Kampala, October 30 (KCNA Correspondent) -- Talks between Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, on an official goodwill visit to Uganda and Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, president of the Republic of Uganda, were held at the presidential palace on Thursday.

At the talks both sides exchanged views on the issue of boosting the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries and other issues of mutual concern.

Present there from the DPRK side were Kang Ha Guk, minister of Public Health, Kung Sok Ung, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, So Kil Bok, vice-minister of External Economic Relations, Myong Kyong Chol, DPRK ambassador to Uganda, and other suite members and from the Ugandan side were Asuman Kiyingi, acting foreign minister, and officials concerned of the Foreign Ministry.
