Actions for Institution of Special Law on Ferry Sewol Staged in S. Korea

Pyongyang, October 31 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Democracy, People's Life, Peaceful Reunification and Sovereignty of south Korea staged actions in Seoul, Pusan, Taegu, Kwangju, Suwon of Kyonggi Province and other parts of south Korea on Oct. 28 in demand of probe into the truth about the ferry Sewol disaster, according to KBS of south Korea.

Members of the organizations accused Chongwadae of refusing to pay heed to the voices of the bereaved families and citizens demanding the probe into the truth about the disaster.

Policemen ran riot to suppress the protestors, but they offered strong resistance against them.

The bereaved families who have struggled for the probe into the truth about the ferry disaster and the institution of a special law held a press conference outside the building of the "National Assembly" on the same day, urging the "government" to clarify its measure for finding out those missing.
