Talks between Kim Yong Nam and President of Congo Held
Pointe Noire, October 28 (KCNA Correspondent) -- Talks between Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, on an official goodwill visit to Congo and Denis Sassou Nguesso, president of the Republic of Congo, took place in Pointe Noire, Congo on Tuesday.

At the talks, both sides informed each other of the situation of their countries, exchanged views on the present international situation and discussed the issue of boosting the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries, the issue of energizing the non-aligned movement and other issues of mutual concern.

Present there from the DPRK side were Kang Ha Guk, minister of Public Health, Kung Sok Ung, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, So Kil Bok, vice-minister of External Economic Relations, Choe Chol Su, DPRK charge d' affaires ad interim in Brazzaville, and other suite members and from the Congolese side were Andre Obami Itou, president of the Senate, Justin Koumba, president of the National Assembly, Florent Ntsiba, minister of State and concurrently minister of Labor and Public Security, Adouki, advisor to the president on foreign affairs, and officials concerned of the Parliament and the Foreign Ministry.
