Present there from the DPRK side were Kang Ha Guk, minister of Public Health, Kung Sok Ung, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, and So Kil Bok, vice-minister of External Economic Relations, and from the Congolese side were Francois Ibovi, minister of Health and Population, Albert Nkwoi, deputy general secretary of the Foreign Ministry, and Claudine Munari, minister of Commerce and Supplies.

At the talks both sides exchanged views on boosting the long-standing friendly and cooperative relations between the DPRK and Congo in the interests of the two peoples.

Meanwhile, a MOU on cooperation in the field of public health between the governments of the DPRK and Congo was signed on the same day.
