Rodong Sinmun Wednesday observes in a commentary in this regard: This clearly indicates that the U.S. in collusion and conspiracy with the south Korean authorities made the deployment of THAAD in south Korea an established fact long ago and has pushed ahead with thorough preparations for it.

What is ridiculous is that the U.S. and the south Korean ruling forces who made incoherent remarks about the deployment of THAAD in south Korea are busy misleading the public opinion by creating the impression that the purpose of the THAAD deployment was to cope with the "north's provocation and threat".

The aim sought by the U.S. and south Korean puppet forces in pulling up the DPRK over its "missile threat" is to build their missile shield through the deployment of THAAD and finally round off the preparations for a nuclear war.

The objective of the U.S. deployment of THAAD in south Korea as the core of the missile shield is to contain Russia and China militarily and, furthermore, establish supremacy in the Asia-Pacific region.

Facts go to prove that a flurry of hackneyed rhetoric let loose by the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces about "missile threat" from the DPRK and the like is nothing but a crafty artifice to calm down opposition of the neighboring countries to the deployment of THAAD and mislead the public opinion.

No country will remain a passive onlooker to the U.S. moves to build a missile shield aimed at a preemptive nuclear attack.
