Kim Yong Nam Meets with Presidents of Senate, National Assembly of Congo
Brazzaville, October 27 (KCNA Correspondent) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, on an official goodwill visit to the Republic of Congo, separately met and had friendly talks with Andre Obami Itou, president of the Senate of Congo, and Justin Koumba, president of the National Assembly of Congo, at the building of the parliament on Oct. 27.

Andre Obami Itou said the Congolese people who are ardently revering HE President Kim Il Sung who sent unsparing support and encouragement to the independence of Congo in the past are admiring the strong will of the Korean people who are advancing along the road of independence.

Justin Koumba expressed belief that Kim Yong Nam's visit to Congo would contribute to developing the relations between the two countries.

Present there were Kang Ha Guk, minister of Public Health, Kung Sok Ung, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, So Kil Bok, vice-minister of External Economic Relations, Choe Chol Su, DPRK charge d' affaires ad interim in Congo, and other suite members, Filmer Phouthi Soungu, first secretary of the Senate, Gabriel Obampo, chairman of the Diplomatic Affairs and Cooperation Sub-Committee of the Senate, Eteka Valere, first secretary of the National Assembly, Kigo Soungbi Josephe, second secretary of the National Assembly, and other officials concerned.

Justin Koumba gave a reception for Kim Yong Nam that day.
