Foreign Papers Observe WPK Founding Anniversary
Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) -- Foreign papers carried special-write ups on the occasion of the 69th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

The Nepalese paper Arpan on Oct. 10 carried an article titled "Down-with-Imperialism Union (DIU) and the WPK", illustrated with a portrait of President Kim Il Sung.

The paper said that Kim Il Sung formed DIU on Oct. 17, 1926, a historic declaration heralding the new start of the Korean revolution and an epochal event that provided an occasion of drastic turn in carving out the destiny of the Korean people. It introduced the final purpose and immediate tasks of DIU.

The Uruguayan paper La Juventud on Oct. 10 dedicated one whole page to an article titled "Ever-victorious WPK", illustrated with a portrait of smiling Kim Il Sung.

It noted that the WPK which organizes and guides all victories of the Korean people was founded on Oct. 10, 1945, introducing its guiding idea and unbreakable unity and cohesion. It went on:

The Korean people are full of faith and will to share destiny with the WPK led by First Secretary Kim Jong Un to the last. The party's invincibility is the truth proved by history.

The Indian paper Indian and World Event on Oct. 7 dedicated two pages to articles titled "Key to victory of socialist cause," "We serve the people!" and "WPK flag" under the caption "Nearly 70 years of leading people," illustrated with a photo of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The Syrian paper Al Baath on Oct. 13 in an article titled "On the occasion of 69th founding anniversary of WPK which has a history of nearly 70 years of leading people" praised the WPK for bringing world-startling miracles and innovations.
