Wreaths Laid before Bust of O Paek Ryong
Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- Wreaths were laid before the bust of revolutionary martyr O Paek Ryong at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong on Friday on the occasion of the centenary of his birth.

Seen standing before the bust was a wreath sent by Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.

Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were Choe Ryong Hae, Hyon Yong Chol, Vice-Premier Kim Yong Jin, officials of party, armed forces and power organs, service personnel, bereaved family members and other people in the city.

Amid the playing of the wreath-laying music wreaths were laid before the bust in the name of the Central Committee of the WPK, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the DPRK Cabinet.

Also placed were wreaths in the name of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, units of the Korean People's Army and party and power bodies in the city and bounches of flowers.

The participants observed a moment's silence in memory of the martyr.
