S. Korean Authorities' Unpopular Policy Accused
Pyongyang, October 23 (KCNA) -- Voices against a step for calming down protest against unpopular rule in south Korea are ringing out loudly, according to Voice of People, an internet paper of south Korea on Oct. 20.

The police authorities announced that they would carry out an enforcement ordinance of the "Law on Rally and Demonstration" which was enacted to lower noise at a time of rally and demonstration. The police are aiming at further lowering the level of noise at a time of rally and demonstration than in the past.

Different circles are becoming increasingly assertive in their voices terming it a scheme to crack down on the freedom of rally and demonstration, the just rights of the people.

The secretary general of the Citizens Solidarity for Democratic Society denounced the police for trying to violate the freedom for no reason, far from guaranteeing rally and demonstration, not only the basic rights of the people but also the only weapons of the weak of society or those falsely charged.
