20-odd events have already come to close such as volleyball, baseball, softball, field hockey, judo and wrestling.

In the A-class table-tennis team events, the titles were taken by men of the Amnokgang Sports Team and women of the Hwaebul Sports Team.

The regulation-ball tennis men's and women's team titles were taken by the Kigwancha Sports Team and the softball tennis men's and women's team titles by the Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry Sports Team and the Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill Sports Team.

As of Monday, five new national records were set at the shooting, archery and swimming events. In particular, a woman player of the April 25 Sports Team broke the national records in 100-meter freestyle and breaststroke swimming.

The championships will last until November.
