Stamps Showing Historical Relics Issued in DPRK
Pyongyang, October 21 (KCNA) -- The DPRK issued four kinds of stamps showing some historical relics in Kaesong City.

The stamps feature Kaesong Chomsongdae (Astronomical Observatory), Seven Tombs Cluster (third tomb), Sungyang Confucian Shrine and Phyochung Monuments, which were registered as world cultural heritages in late June Juche 102 (2013).

Kaesong Chomsongdae is a stone structure built in 919 as the central astronomical observatory base of Koryo Kingdom (918-1392).

Seven Tombs Cluster is believed to be constructed in the closing years of Koryo.

Sungyang Confucian Shrine in Sonjuk-dong of Kaesong City is a wooden building built in the period of the Feudal Joson Dynasty (1392-1910).

Phyochung Monuments were erected by the kings of the Feudal Joson Dynasty in praise of Jong Mong Ju's loyalty (1337-1392).
