New Operational Plan of U.S., S. Korea Censured
Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- The U.S.-south Korea security consultative meeting will reportedly take place in Washington at the end of October.

Foreign reports say that the U.S. and south Korea are mapping out a new operational plan to jointly cope with "nuclear and ballistic missile threat from north Korea".

A commentary of Rodong Sinmun Sunday says this is an open challenge to the measures taken by the DPRK for self-defence, and an adventurous act of posing greater danger of a nuclear war to the Korean Peninsula.

The operational plan which the U.S. alleges it pushes forward jointly with south Korea is, in fact, its own unilateral operational plan to mobilize all its combat forces with strike, monitor and defence missions, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The U.S. missile defense system is primarily targeted against big powers around Korea. The reason that the U.S. is keen to deploy in south Korea X-Band with the capacity of detecting targets within more than 1 000 km is to pressure and threaten those big powers around Korea.

Those powers are moving to defeat the U.S. military supremacy while channeling efforts into bolstering military capacity.

By inveigling south Korea into its missile defence system, the U.S. seeks to prevent the north-south ties from making progress and use them in its favor for escalating confrontation with those countries around Korea and sparking off strategic race. This reveals the U.S. black-hearted intention to expand the Cold War structure on the Korean Peninsula to the Asia-Pacific region.

This indicates the U.S.-south Korea new joint operational plan is just a plan for expanding the Cold War.

It is the U.S. which will suffer a defeat in the Cold War in the 21st century. It is now falling into decline being denounced as the source of evil and kingpin of injustice on the international arena. The speed of its falling will be accelerated in the future.
