Korean Photo, Book and Handicraft Exhibitions Open in Russia, Mongolia, Mexico
Pyongyang, October 12 (KCNA) -- Korean photo, book and handcraft exhibitions opened in Russia, Mongolia and Mexico from October 1 to 6 to mark the 17th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's election as general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and its 69th founding anniversary.

Hanging on the front walls of the exhibition halls were portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

On display at the venues of the events were photos on exploits performed by Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un in leading the party building and their Songun leadership exploits.

Also displayed there were works of the peerless great men of Mt. Paektu, photos and books introducing Songun Korea and handicrafts associated with wisdom and talents of Koreans.

The vice-mayor of Alexandrov City, Moscow Region, Russia said:

The WPK has covered only the ever-victorious road, meeting all challenges of history with the might of single-minded unity under the leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

True to their behests Kim Jong Un is developing the WPK into the most militant party and the party for the people without an equal in the world.

The DPRK is sure to emerge a thriving nation in the near future.

The vice-minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Mongolia said Mongolia sets store by the friendly relations with the heroic Korean people led by the WPK and will invariably boost these relations under any circumstances.

The chairman of a Mexican center said that the glorious history of the WPK will be given steady continuity in the future, too thanks to the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un.
