She was born as a daughter of a land tenant and was subject to all sorts of maltreatment and contempt. It was not until President Kim Il Sung liberated the country that she could lead a worthy life.

She worked hard for the socialist homeland. She kept herself busy to be helpful to the country even after becoming a pensioner. She likes vegetables and soy-based food and leads an optimistic life.

She always tells her children to do a lot of good work for the grateful country, saying she enjoys longevity under the good socialist system.
