New Kind of Pulley Manufactured in DPRK

| Pyongyang, October 3 (KCNA) -- The Junggu Public Building Construction Company in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea developed a new kind of pulley to be used for such works as plastering and tile-setting. This pulley, made with 3mm-thick sheet iron, is 220mm in diameter and weighs 3.5 kg, with lifting capacity of 2 to 3 tons. It can be easily manufactured at any unit with very low cost, and it is handy to use. Awarded with invention certificate, the new type of pulley has been applied to many construction sites. |
