Kim Il Sung's Feats for Party-building Carried by Bangladeshi Paper
Pyongyang, October 1 (KCNA) -- The Bangladeshi paper The Daily Folk carried an article titled "Founder of Workers' Party of Korea" on Sept. 23 on the occasion of the 69th founding anniversary of the WPK.

The paper said:

The WPK has demonstrated its might as a steel-strong party, invincible party in the international community. This would be unthinkable apart from the exploits President Kim Il Sung performed in building party.

The President, who embarked upon the road of struggle for the country and people in the period when Korea was under military control of the Japanese imperialists, inaugurated the Down-with-Imperialism Union (DIU) comprising revolutionaries of younger generation in Korea on October 17, 1926.

After starting his revolutionary activities with the formation of the DIU, the President made a speech "The Path of the Korean Revolution" at the historic Kalun meeting at which he scientifically defined the characteristics and mission of the Korean revolution and, based on it, set forth Juche-oriented line of the Korean revolution, including the line of armed struggle, the line of the anti-Japanese national united front and the line of party-building.

He made sure that the party was founded immediately after the liberation of Korea based on the organizational and ideological groundwork for party-building laid in the period of the anti-Japanese armed struggle.

Therefore, the WPK, powerful guiding force of the Korean society, was founded on October 10, 1945 in a matter of less than two months after the liberation of the country.

After its foundation, the WPK has triumphantly advanced along the road of building a new society, socialism centered on the popular masses guided by the Juche idea, an idea founded by the President.

The exploits of the President will shine forever along with the invincible might of the WPK which organizes and guides all victories of the Korean people.
