"Complete Collection of Korean Dishes" Published in DPRK
Pyongyang, September 30 (KCNA) -- The Korean Association of Cooks has recently brought out the book "Complete Collection of Korean Dishes".

The book, comprising 10 volumes in total, deals with photo-accompanied cookeries of over 6 000 traditional and present-day Korean dishes.

Vol. 1 introduces some 600 cuisines for making staples like rice cake, noodle, boiled rice, gruel, pancake and dumpling, while vol. 2 some 600 cookeries of traditional Korean dishes.

Vol. 3 deals with some 600 cuisines of banquet dishes and vol. 4 some 600 cookeries of dishes for tourists.

Vol. 5 features cuisines of mountain animals, birds and fishes, while vol. 6 special dishes of the different parts of the country.

Carried in Vol. 7 and Vol. 8 are cuisines of dishes easy to make in household and at least 600 cookeries of health dishes.

Vol. 9 introduces some 600 salted, dried and smoked dishes and vol. 10 sweet foods and drinks.

The book will be conducive to improving local people's diet life.
