Concert Marking Anniversary of Yun I Sang Music Institute Closes
Pyongyang, September 29 (KCNA) -- The concert marking the 30th anniversary of the Yun I Sang Music Institute came to a close Monday after starting on Sept. 27.

Its closing performance by the Orchestra of the Yun I Sang Music Institute was given at the Yun I Sang Concert Hall here. The repertoire included orchestral music "A Young Engine Driver" and symphonic poem "Angel in Flammen" and "Kammersinfonie I", music pieces composed by Yun I Sang.

Put on the stage in the second-day concert were such numbers as "Tapis pour Cordes" and "Streichguartett V in einem Satz", composed by Yun I Sang.

The concert served as a significant occasion in having a deep understanding of Yun I Sang's patriotic music and inspiring all Koreans with hope for national reconciliation and unity and reunification.

Present to enjoy the performance were Vice-Minister of Culture Han Chol, Director of the Yun I Sang Music Institute Hong Kyong Ho, officials concerned, creators and artistes of leading art troupes, teachers and students of art educational institutions and other Pyongyang citizens as well as overseas compatriots.
