Declaration on Situation for Institution of Special Law on Ferry Sewol Published
Pyongyang, September 26 (KCNA) -- Students of Chonnam University of south Korea published a declaration on the situation in demand of the institution of a special law on the ferry Sewol on September 23, according to the south Korean internet paper Voice of People.

What the people want is a thorough probe into the truth about the ferry Sewol disaster and the prevention of the recurrence of similar disaster, they said, and went on:

The present chief executive promised the bereaved families this.

But a special law which can not guarantee the probe into the truth, a law bereft of the right to investigation and indictment, is being pushed forward by the political camp, enraging the bereaved families and other people.

If the special law without the right to investigation and indictment is instituted, it will be little short of repeating the national investigation into the ferry Sewol that conducted for mere form's sake and the truth behind the loss of more than 300 lives can never be probed.

It is the "president" herself who should take a decision for the security of the people, they said, urging the chief executive to take responsibility for her remarks and the political camp to come out to institute the law as desired by the bereaved families.
