The vice-president of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries said he was pleased that the Korean people have achieved big successes in socialist construction under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung, General Secretary Kim Jong Il and First Secretary Kim Jong Un for 66 years.

Today the Korean people are working hard to build a thriving socialist nation, united close around the Workers' Party of Korea headed by Kim Jong Un, he said, expressing the belief that the flower of Sino-DPRK friendship would bloom thanks to the joint efforts of the parties, governments and peoples of the two countries.

The manager of the Iran-Korea Friendship Magsal Agro-Stock Farm said that after its foundation the DPRK turned into a socialist state, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence, and a politico-ideological power which no one dares provoke.

The chairman of the Ugandan National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea said socialist Korea has become an invulnerable bulwark despite the complicated international situation and imperialists' pressure. The Songun politics in the DPRK is an example to be followed by the African people exposed to the neo-colonial threat of big powers, he added.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the event in Uganda.
