U.S. Troops in S. Korea Chiefly to Blame for Korea's Division: British Organizations
Pyongyang, September 16 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Korean Friendship Association UK released a joint statement on September 7 on the lapse of 69 years since the U.S. troops occupied south Korea.

The statement said:

The U.S. imperialist aggressor forces present in south Korea are chiefly to blame for the division of Korea and the root cause of all sufferings and misfortunes of the Korean people.

The 69 years since the U.S. forces' occupation of south Korea were a period which brought all sorts of misfortune to the south Korean people.

Nevertheless, these forces are behaving in south Korea like a great monarch, enjoying extraterritorial privileges as they go unpunished after committing all sorts of crimes such as murder, rape, robbery, drug trafficking.

South Korea is a colony of modern version in the 21st century.

Since their occupation of south Korea, the U.S. imperialists have staged ceaseless war drills against the DPRK, steadily escalating the tensions on the Korean peninsula and posing a grave threat to the world peace.

The U.S. imperialists should quit south Korea, taking with them all their destructive weapons and equipment and let the Korean people freely decide on their own problem and reunify the country.

Meanwhile, British progressive organizations on September 9 made public a joint statement in support of a statement issued by the spokesman for the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea which called for putting an early end to the U.S. imperialists' presence in south Korea.
