DPRK-France Exhibition Opens
Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- The exhibition of relics, jointly surveyed and discovered by the DPRK and France in Kaesong Walls, opened at the Korean Folklore Museum on Monday under the co-sponsorship of the Guidance Bureau for the Preservation of National Heritages and the French Far-east School.

Present at the opening ceremony were Ryong Ju, director of the guidance bureau, officials concerned, teachers and students of Kim Il Sung University, researchers of the Academy of Social Sciences, Elisabeth Chabanol, representative of French Far-east School, Emmanuel Rousseau, director of the Cooperation Bureau of France in DPRK, and Charlie Li Quanhua, representative of the Lafarge S.A. of France.

Present there on invitation were diplomatic envoys and members of the missions of international organizations here.

Speeches were made at the ceremony.

They went round the relics discovered by the guidance bureau and the French Far-east School in the course of the joint survey of the Kaesong Walls for some years and photos clearly proving the history of Kaesong, the capital of Koryo which was the first unified state in the history of the Korean nation.
