Candlelight Meeting Held in Demand of Institution of Special Law on Ferry Sewol
Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- A candlelight meeting demanding the institution of a special law on the ferry Sewol took place at the Kwanghwamun Plaza, Seoul on Sep. 13, according to the south Korean internet paper Voice of People.

Attending it were members of organizations of professors, teachers and students of universities including the Teachers Union, the Council of Professors for Democracy and the Association of Students for Democratic and Independent Reunification.

The participants in a resolution declared they would carry on their actions till the special law is instituted to probe the truth behind the disaster.

They referred to the ceaseless signature campaign and demonstration being staged in the university street.

They noted that professors, teachers and students of universities would stand in the van of the struggle together with the bereaved families now on their hunger strike in demand of the institution of a special law on the ferry which will grant the rights to investigate and indict those responsible for the disaster.

Bereaved families denounced the chief executive and the ruling party for persistently keeping mum about their hunger strike and their demand for the institution of a special law and falsifying the truth.
