Foreign Newspapers Observe DPRK's Founding Anniversary
Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- Foreign newspapers dedicated special write-ups to the 66th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

The September 5th issue of the Thai newspaper Xing San Daily allotted one whole page to an article titled "Invincible power" illustrated with a photo of President Kim Il Sung.

It noted that Korea, once eclipsed on the world map, could demonstrate its dignity and might as an invincible power which no one dares to provoke as the DPRK was founded.

It said that the DPRK is dynamically advancing to become a power in the fields of economy, science, technology and sports while consolidating its position as a political, ideological and military power.

On the same day the Nepalese newspaper Arpan carried an article which said as follows.

Kim Il Sung, founder of the DPRK, turned it into a prospering socialist country.

Leader Kim Jong Il firmly consolidated the DPRK into an invincible socialist power.

The invincibility of the DPRK could be seen through the events which drew the world attention toward the end of the last century.

The DPRK defended socialism despite the worst adversities when socialism collapsed in various countries and imperialists' offensive against socialism became all the more vicious.

The Nigerian newspaper Nigerian Observer on Sept. 4 carried an article introducing the DPRK which is demonstrating its might as a socialist power.

It said: The DPRK's might as an invincible socialist power is being further displayed thanks to supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

Under his leadership the DPRK's capabilities for self-defence are being bolstered up and its army and people are making a new history of victory in the showdown with the U.S.

The DPRK will shine long as an invincible socialist power.
