DPRK Birthday Marked Abroad
Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- Receptions, friendly meetings, book and photo exhibitions and film shows to celebrate the 66th founding anniversary of the DPRK took place at the DPRK missions in Russia, India, Nepal, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Poland, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Germany, Britain, Switzerland, Sweden, France, Algeria, DR Congo, Ethiopia and Mexico and the DPRK permanent mission in the UN Office and international organizations in Geneva and the DPRK permanent mission in the UN from Sept. 4 to 8.

Displayed there were photos documenting the undying exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also on display were works of the peerless great persons of Mt. Paektu and books and photos introducing the proud history of the DPRK.

Films shown included Korean films "Pyongyang Today" and "Fireworks of a Thriving Nation".

The vice governor of the Maritime Territory Administration of Russia said the good neighborly relations between the peoples of Russia and the DPRK with a long tradition of friendship and cooperation are growing stronger as the days go by.

The vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist) said the DPRK serves as a beacon of hope for the world progressive people as it has achieved eye-opening successes in socialist construction under the wise guidance of Kim Jong Un despite all sorts of sanctions and blockade by the hostile forces.

The general secretary of the Central Committee of the New Communist Party of Britain expressed the belief that the Korean people would surely build a thriving socialist nation under the leadership of Kim Jong Un who is identical to Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association said the foundation of the DPRK gave great strength and courage to the world progressives struggling for national independence against colonialism and imperialism.
