Printed on a poster are the logo of the festival, the letters bearing "The 14th Pyongyang International Film Festival" and "Welcome" and five colored tapes.

The poster welcomes foreign friends coming to Pyongyang, the host of the festival, with friendship towards the Korean people.

There is also a poster portraying a pigeon and bearing words "Independence", "Peace" and "Friendship" reflecting the desire of mankind to lead a happy life in a peaceful world free from war.
