Country Dignified Thanks to Independence Can Guarantee National Prosperity: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, September 12 (KCNA) -- One can see his nation's genuine dignity and eternal prosperity in the country where independent politics is in force, says Rodong Sinmun Friday in an article.

The DPRK emerged a unique politico-ideological power with the unbreakable single-minded unity and a military power which no formidable enemy dares provoke. Such world-startling status of the DPRK would be unthinkable without the Songun politics, the article notes, and goes on:

The Songun politics means the politics of loving the people as it most correctly and comprehensively reflects their will and the wishes and guarantees their independent right and dignity at the highest level.

It is thanks to the invincible Songun politics that no one can provoke Korean-style socialism centered on the popular masses and it remains unfazed in face of any worldwide upheaval.

The Songun politics of the DPRK completely changed the geopolitical meaning of the Korean peninsula.

Gone are the days never to return when big powers were free to perpetrate high-handed and arbitrary practices after having a monopoly of nukes and satellites. The DPRK has firmly seized the initiative for ensuring peace on the Korean peninsula and in the rest of Northeast Asia.

The Songun politics has brought all Koreans hope and confidence in the country's reunification and the rosy future of the nation's prosperity.

One can never expect a rosy future of his nation on the land where its sovereignty is trampled down.

South Korea still remains a tundra-like colony where even the elementary sovereignty and the right to existence of people are not ensured as its politics, military, economy, culture and all other fields are controlled by the U.S.

As long as the Songun politics is in force, no aggressor forces dare browbeat the service personnel and people of the DPRK and it will always remain a strong fortress of independence.
