Resentment at S. Korean Chief Executive Mounts among Koreans in U.S.
Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- Resentment at the south Korean chief executive is mounting among Koreans in the U.S., according to Jaju Minbo, an internet paper of south Korea, on Sept. 9.

After hearing the news that the chief executive is going to tour the U.S. under the pretext of participating in an international meeting, Koreans in the U.S. said they would turn out in protest against her.

They urged her to meet with bereaved family members of the ferry Sewol tragedy before touring a foreign country.

They declared Koreans in the U.S. would hold rallies and demonstrations demanding the institution of a special law on the ferry Sewol including the right to investigate and indict those responsible for the disaster and denouncing the present regime in New York, Washington, Los Angeles and other parts of the U.S. with the chief executive's visit to the U.S. as a momentum.

The actions are aimed to support the struggle of people of various circles in south Korea including the bereaved families of the ferry Sewol disaster, let the world know about the brutality of the present regime, have a special law on the ferry Sewol be instituted at an early date and make the truth about the disaster be probed, they stressed.
